Lime Plaster, Custom Made Lime Stones 

The wall  surface was first coated with a rough layer of plaster called the      "arriccio."

A full-scale preparatory drawing was then created. The drawing has perforated with small holes along the outlines and placed against the wet plaster, to keep size and location. Charcoal dust is pounced  through the holes to transfer the design onto the wall.
